Alex Smith, TGI’s Vice President of Business & Software Development, stated, “Enterprise 21 ERP has always been one of the most functionally-rich ERP solutions on the market. Now, we are coupling that functionality with a deployment method for the modern era to provide any user on any device from anywhere in the world with an Internet connection full access to his or her ERP system.”
Interestingly, TGI’s web-based ERP system will not be considered a new product in the company’s portfolio; rather, it is simply being considered a new version of its existing Enterprise 21 system. Smith continues, “Enterprise 21 has become synonymous with powerful software, and we didn’t want to call its latest iteration by some other name or brand. Most importantly, by making the web-based version of Enterprise 21 a new version rather than a new product, we are ensuring that all of our current customers who are subscribed to annual maintenance receive rights to the new web-based version at no additional cost.”
TGI’s web-based ERP, Enterprise 21 v10.0, is designed to be device independent with a user interface that adjusts automatically based on the user’s device. It also provides companies with flexible deployment options based on their own internal IT resources and preferences for where their data resides. With TGI’s web-based ERP software, manufacturing and distribution organizations may opt to have the system installed on their own hardware and infrastructure (traditional on-premise), have TGI host the system for them as part of TGI’s cloud services offering, or contract with a third-party hosting provider of their choosing.
While the debut of TGI’s fully web-based ERP was the highlight of the event, TGI also debuted new enhancements for its document management system, an improved suite of functionality for managing supplier approval programs, updates to its CRM and project accounting modules to track actual sales expenses associated with prospects, and more.
