Able to operate in stand alone mode warehouse management system or fully integrated with the rest of the Enterprise product family, the Enterprise WMS software package is a complete warehouse management system capable of handling environments ranging from electronic distributors to cheese manufacturers.
The system architecture empowers users to achieve new levels of productivity and accuracy. At the same time, the architecture of the application makes the warehouse management system extremely easy to use. Functions required for all warehouse and manufacturing operations can be performed either through the RF system interfaces, or through a sophisticated Graphical User Interface (GUI) session.
Warehouse management system functionality includes receiving, put away, locating, order pool management, picking, replenishment, and shipping. In addition, physical and cycle counts as well as vendor returns, license plating, warehouse labor allocation, and product specific multiple storage types (e.g., low temperature, bonded, etc.) provide the tools necessary to truly manage inventory in various types of industries.
If used with the full version of Enterprise 21’s ERP software, the warehousing functions integrate seamlessly with manufacturing activities. The Enterprise WMS package tracks both work-in-process (WIP) and finished goods inventory, forging a link between the warehouse and manufacturing assembly areas achieving accurate real time links to higher level systems.
