How is EDI handled in Enterprise 21’s ERP Software?

Knowing that so many small to mid-size companies struggle with EDI and the specific demands placed on them by their large customers, TGI offers a no nonsense approach to Electronic Data Interface.

In Enterprise 21, EDI integration is easily accomplished through the ERP software’s internal mapping process which links an individual EDI transaction set to the transactional data in the ERP system. TGI’s mapping process quickly connects to standard EDI packages. The process is completely ODBC compliant and is flexible to accommodate standard EDI packages, customer specific EDI requirements, or unique industry specifications.

In addition to EDI, the mapping process also manages system requirements such as data migration or interfaces to external third party billing or manifest systems.

What about 1SYNC and UCCnet?

The process is handled in the same mapping format as general EDI transactions sets. Data is retrieved and mapped as it would under normal EDI circumstances. The only difference is the process of adhering to the 1SYNC/UCCnet item attributes and assigning the Global Trade Identification Numbers (GTIN). The 1SYNC’s suggested implementation plan is very similar to that which TGI already utilizes internally.
