Enterprise 21 ERP Software: General Leader Features
TGI’s ERP software is simple enough for small companies, yet complex enough to manage multinational corporations with numerous companies and divisions. The accounting modules offer a complete financial package which is fully integrated with the other Enterprise 21 modules.
Multiple User Controls
- With Enterprise 21, each entry point: AP invoice entry, AR cash receipts, manual journal entries, etc., is controlled by user-created work areas or "batches". Users may have an unlimited number of open batches. Batches have three statuses:
- Open - allowing input and edits
- Hold - in suspense, pending approval or additional input
- Release - released for posting
- Each batch has its own edit report.
- Batches may not be released until they tie out to the batch totals for added security.
- Period Processing - batches may be created for open periods only. Data may only be posted into prior periods if the period is reopened.
- Posting - only released batches are posted. This allows for multi-user/departmental accounting. One user cannot execute a post and inadvertently process another user's work before they have had a chance to error check or approve the transactions.
