Is source code available for purchase or escrow?

The only way we sell Enterprise 21 is by including source code as part of the sale at no additional cost. We feel that, should you ever decide to do so, you should be able to operate completely independent of us. It should not be a requirement that you must forever come to us any time you want something done with the software as a result of evolving business conditions. We view future business with your organization as a privilege which should be earned, not a right resulting from a one-time software purchase decision.

Please note that when a software vendor escrows source code, generally they will put the initial software release purchased into the escrow account and not update it as the given customer performs upgrades – something that renders the source code useless years into the future when the customer actually needs and receives the source code from the escrow.
