What does TGI consider as the most critical elements to a successful ERP implementation project?
Establishing and executing a comprehensive test plan that will run through the core business processes used within the given organization to prove that consistent and predictable results will occur when processes are executed in a production environment. TGI provides its customers a sample test plan that be updated with customer specifics and works with its customers to successfully execute their test plans.
Successfully migrating data from existing legacy systems into the new ERP environment, and verifying that the data came across correctly. TGI assists its customers to successfully migrate legacy data through a series of iterative test migrations and data validation processes.
Adequately training functional application users and technical resources so that they are welll prepared to be able to transact business in the new system prior to production “go live.” TGI trains the implementation core team early on in the implementation process for purposes of software acceptance and establishing business policies and procedures. Then, late in the implementation process just prior to production “go live” TGI either trains the organization’s internal trainers or all functional end users (depending upon size of implementation and customer preferences) and technical resources to successfully administer the system.
